Man, what a game tonight... Hawks all over Wings, but, can't get it in the net.

Chicago will have their hands full trying to get this series back to Chicago even at 2 games a piece. Game 4 should be an epic battle...

In fact, all the current NHL playoff series are fantastic TV, even for casual hockey fans......

BTW, I thought the Blackhawk goal waved off for goalie interference, which would have tied the game at 2-2, was bogus... Clearly the Red Wing defender pushed the Blackhawk player into the crease from behind him, and, the Blackhawk player didn't even touch the goalie as the puck went in the net.
Surpirsed there was no replay there...

Goal should have counted. Even the NBC post-game commentators agreed it should have counted.

All disputed goals are automatically reviewed by the NHL. However, in a case like you describe, if the referee blows the play dead before a puck enters the net, then that supersedes any video review, and the play is dead, and the goal cannot count. A goal can be ruled good on replay if the video review determines that a puck crossed the goal line before the play was blown dead.
