I could hardly keep from cracking up when reading this article - it's not what you think...
The Minnesota Timberwolves have signed a lot of very good players - Kevin Love, Chase Budinger, Jose Juan Berea (Puerto Rican), Andre Kirilenko (Russian), Luke Ridnour, Nikola Pekovic (from Montenegro), Ricky Rubio (Spain - but out with injury)...

of course they also have Malcolm Lee, Brandon Roy, and numerous other Black players but......

some self-appointed racism police-types have declared that there are wayyyyy too many white-looking people on this team!!!
One guy says...

I am astounded that in a league where Black Americans outnumber white

Boston has catered to their fan base for years. Minnesota is doing the exact same thing by giving their fan base the type of team that they will pay to watch and support. Like you guys, I see nothing wrong with that. Go Wolves!

They've had Black head coaches and plenty of Black players -- it's just stupid and asinine to make a charge of racism against the only team that has a slight minority of Blacks but the "white" guys are largely Latinos and European guys
