This is some funny stuff. Did you guys know that Carlos Marmol spelled backward is...is....is.... oh hell, the Cubs can't win anyway. Hey Steve, how about a cold Bud Lite?.
I know some Cubs fans harbor a grudge against Dempster for delaying his trade and maybe diminishing what the Cubs received in return (though they weren't going to get much anyway), but he has always been one of baseball's good guys. He did a ton of charity work in Chicago, and earlier in his career.

Randall Delgado is a stud pitcher, you will see in the next few seasons on what you missed out on , happy Dempster voided the trade because I did not want to lose Delgado and Maholm and Johnson was a better deal for us.
Maybe. I don't follow the Braves closely, but I don't believe Delgado will live up to the hype he's gotten. For such a highly touted prospect, he has never had a winning record with any team at any level in the Braves minor league system (8 teams in 6 seasons), and his ERA has ballooned as he rose higher in the organization. But the Cubs' organization is so devoid of major league pitching prospects that anything would help.
The Braves usually know what they are doing with their young pitchers, and if they were willing to deal him for Dempster, they might know something. He has not been very good with the Braves this season (4-9, ERA 4.42, WHIP 1.43), but he is very young and has time to turn it around.
