    Several baseball Braves have enjoyed impressive summers, including two with a summer league championship and one more still pursuing a title:

    Mike Tauchman did it all to help the Fayetteville SwampDogs stave off elimination and ultimately advance to the championship series of the Coastal Plain League Petitt Cup championship series.

    Gotta love those minor league and amateur league nicknames! Just the few you mentioned- The Fayetteville SwampDogs, the Forest City Owls, and the Columbia (S.C.) Blowfish!

      Love the Columbia Blowfish name. Columbia is the home of the band Hootie and the Blowfish.
