Yep....rumors are that they're looking for a veteran linebacker now from the free agent lot.
Looks almost certain they're going to draft a defensive end this weekend. Whitney Mercilus will likely be gone....remember the name Chandler Jones from Syracuse.... He's a sleeper DE. They would love Quinton Coples to slip to them...but that's unlikely. Nick Perry is another name to watch (USC) though PAC12 players tend to have inflated sack / tackle numbers.

My prediction for the Bears is DE Quinton Coples, if he is still available - if he is gone by the 19th pick, I still think they'll go for a defensive lineman, possibly Michael Brockers of LSU.
If they decide to beef up the offensive line first, it might be Jonathan Martin, a 6'6", 304 pound OT from Stanford.
Illinois DE Whitney Mercilus is interesting, but he only weighed in at about 260 pounds, too small to play the defensive line in the NFL. Whoever drafts him will likely convert him to a linebacker. The Bears need help most on the defensive and offensive lines.
Here is a good database of the available prospects and their ratings- it is sortable by a lot of different variables-
