Stop all the crying about hard hits. Hockey fans love the fighting but hate hard hits. Of course some hard hits are dirty hits, but as a fan of the game you get what you ask for IMO.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

How do you figure? They will play the Kings next round unless Vancouver makes a comeback. They wouldn't face the Coyotes until the 3rd round.

nah...OldCoach is right...In the NHL they reseed the teams after the first round to determine second round matchups. With the assumption that all teams that are currently winning their series go forth the seedings will go as such:

Blues go from #2 seed to the #1 seed.
Coyotes go from the #3 seed to the #2 seed
Preds go from the #4 seed to the #3 seed
Kings from from #8 seed to #4 seed.

Meaning next rounds match ups will be the Blues/Kings and Coyotes/Preds

Guess I was a little off with 8 games.

By the way that guys opinion seems pretty close to the other ones.

Some unbelievable goal tending by Mike Smith lead the Coyotes past the Black Hawks. Looked like there was a some kind of force field shield around the Coyote's goal.

'Yotes finally got a couple past the Hawks' excellent goalie Crawford who has kept them in the series....

Blackhawks put so much effort into the 1st period with nothing to show for it, I think it took something out of them by the 3rd period. Yotes scoring first was critical to keep the crowd support out of the game.

Wonder if the NHL Suspension Czar will dole out any punishment to Blackhawks Hayes for boarding Coyote Rozsival from behind head first into the glass...knocking him out of the game...

Smith was fantastic. A hot goalie can win a cup, but the Western Cinference is a buzz saw this year. Eight wins against Nashville and likely the Blues will be tough.
As for Hayes, yes, they should suspend him. I'm guessing that he gets 3-5 games to start next season.
