    Sophomore runner Cassie Lohmeier has been named the Bradley Country Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday after finishing seventh in the 3,000 meters at the Vanderbilt Black & Gold.

      Awesome! I know Cassie's father (huge BU fan, goes to every bball game) and brothers and I know they are incredibly proud of her. They are a great family...from East Peoria.

        haha, I went to school with her! Didn't know her too well as she was a year ahead of me, but a heckuva runner. Congrats Cassie!

          Cassie was a couple of my kids' Sunday School teacher & VBS teacher- she's a really good kid & a smart student
