Just a followup since Sunday's game was rained out..and BU doesn't play again until this coming Saturday
BU went 1-2 in Georgia...
6-4 loss to Virginia Tech, then a 4-3 win over Kennesaw State, then an 11-1 loss to VTech.
A couple bright spots - there were a couple players who hit fairly well,
and our guys did an exceptionally good job coaxing a lot of walks so our on-base pct was decent...we just didn't get the timely hitting we needed.
BUT -- if you want to talk the sport that has done really well....
the women's golf team...just a day after Bradley freshman Thea Hedemann shot the best round of golf Bradley's women's team has ever seen......
Bradley had TWO of it's women's golf team named..
Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week!!
Congrats to Senior Kelly Amundrud and freshman Thea Hedemann
Senior Kelly Amundrud (Calgary, Alberta/Strathcona Tweedsmuir) and freshman Thea Hedemann (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan/Walter Murray) shared Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week honors announced by the league office Wednesday after the duo tied for sixth at the Lady Moc Classic in Lakeland Fla.
