Did anyone see this headline - a guy made TWO holes in one in the same round of golf yesterday!!
This truly is an exceedingly rare event and likely no more than a handful of people have EVER accomplished this..
BUT -- a Bradley basketball player indeed DID accomplish this exact same feat...
Can anyone remember who it was without clicking on the link below.......?
A golf site that is cited in both links claims this feat is a 67-million-to-one probability and since it is estimated that less than 100 million
have ever played a round of golf then statistically OUR ex-BU player may well be the only American to have ever accomplished this feat!!
By the way -- just coincidentally - there's this really nice story about the SAME all-time Bradley great in the paper today...
Congrats to one of my all time favorite Braves Chuck Buescher!
Ooops - sorry - I meant to post this in the Basketball forum since it's got more to do with one of our all time great Braves players - but I'll post it in both forums
