  • Joe Paterno reportedly near death

Well, despite everything that has come out over the past few months, I hate to see his life end like this. And I wish no ill will on anyone except our most hated enemies (ie: Bin Laden), as anyone's life should be in God's hands. But it sure didn't take long for Joe to take a turn for the worse after all of this came out.

Anyone in Chicago or anyone who listens to the Score in Chicago online better be aware of Boers and Bernstein Monday afternoon at 1 PM on the Score if they tune in. These two schumcks have had a death wish on this guy the moment the news of Gary Sandusky came out, and will probably be celebrating in earnest Monday afternoon if Joe passes away before then!

I can't stand Boers and Bernstein and refuse to listen to them.
    Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Paterno knowingly covered up for a serial child rapist who ruined God knows how-many lives and allowed it to happen in his own locker room. Paterno's "right hand man" created a charity to harvest and rape young boys, flaunting them in front of the entire Penn State nation. The fact that the charity was set up for troubled youth makes it even more sickening. In the poker hand known as life, these facts trump any kind of accomplishments he had on the football field. Penn State allowed Paterno and his rapitst buddy to run rampant, even donating land to help the child harvest by Sandusky. They all knew about it and covered up. Penn State tries to fire him and he says "Hell No" and stays on board until he is exposed. WOW

Yeah, I'm just about at that point too. Why I listen to them sometimes, I don't even know! I guess Bernstein can be very smart at times when it comes to talk about sports medical issues. And they both are intelligent enough to differentiate between the smart sports fans and those who have no clue as to how sports organizations are run. But at other times they are just smart alecks who have a blantant disregard for anyone who disagrees with their views. Maybe that's why I still listen to them occasionally, just to see how unpredictable they can be. And tomorrow ought to be a "hoot" irregardless of whether I agree with them or not!

But regarding their analysis of Sandusky and Paterno, outside of their very sincere sticking up for the kids who did not at all deserve this treatment from that pig Sandusky, I don't agree with these two wishing death on someone, irregardless of what they did, except again for the terrorists that had their hand in 9/11 and any others who wish the same ill will. For the most part I let God determine how He wants to handle these type of people. And apparently He didn't wait too long to render His verdict on Paterno!

Just to clarify, I'm in no way at all defending Paterno for his lack of response against Sandusky. I just find it uncomfortable listening to two supposed "professional" sports journalists telling "an old guy to just die already"! I just find that classless, and it stoops down to the level of Paterno and Sandusky everytime they say that. As I stated above, it's all in God's hands with what He is doing right now with Paterno, and what He will do in the near future with Sandusky.

He was good at winning football games. Good for him.

But if my kid was a victim, I'd want to burn that place down along with everyone who willfully allowed it to happen.

So in that regard, I'm with Bernstein.

Well, Boers and Bernstein are on now. I'm sure they will have some "choice" comments on him!
