As someone who remembers Y.A., he didn't have a lot of mobility. He was a great passer, but wouldn't have lasted very long if he had to scramble as much as TT. At times it looked like New England was rushing all 11 guys. Also, NE scored 45 points and I didn't see TT playing on defense.

      Remember St. Elmo's Fire anyone?

John Parr has recently re"mastered" his 80's hit.

Good God! I like Tebow, and I loved this song back in the 80's. But Parr's remake is terrible!

Well, Tebow is young and he showed some flashes of brilliance during the Pittsburgh game. And he did well enough to get Denver in the playoffs in the first place (though the Bears and Marion Barber get a good chunk of credit for that too). But let's face it. VERY few quarterbacks would be able to stop New England on Saturday.

Tebow will get better next season as he puts 110% into improving his game. Tebow and Denver will surprise a lot of people next year!

Pittsburgh was a pretty beat up team by the time they played Denver in the playoffs. The Patriots installed a game plan that aggressively shot the gaps rather than play containment. It also looked as if their linebackers had multiple roles as well to stop the run and Tebow. Their game plan would have been much different with a more talented quarterback. Also keep in mind that the Patriots secondary has been torched this year by almost every quarterback. Tebow is a hard worker no doubt, but if I am John Elway, I draft a quarterback.

Contrary to the week before, the Pats did get some good players BACK the week they played Denver, Chung and Spikes- 2 good up and coming players.

Still doesn't equate to a 9/26 passer performance but I will say that I agree with what Elway said today in support of Tebow. Paraphrasing: When the deep ball is as common as it was with the Broncos offense, 50% isn't something to harp on.

Did you see one screen or check down in the Patriots game? It's a wacky game plan that I think has run it's course as a full time offense. I'm on Team Tebow next year to put up some surprising numbers against a very tough schedule.

              Tebow Time?

Time to move Tebow to H Back?

Denver defense did allow NE lots of points, but, has to be pointed out NE started most of their drives from mid field (or better) as Denver offense/punter never moved the ball downfield enough to give their defense some breathing room. I think NE's average starting position was +/- their 45 yd line.

Throw in the turnovers, and the fact the Denver defense was never able to catch their breath before having to go right back on the field again, and....

It's Tebow Time To Move To H Back!

Let him throw passes as a running back on a trick play....

Committing the whole team to an option running team just to see if TT can pull it off is just too risky for the Denver Organization as the chance of one big hit on TT could lead to the end of Tebow Time.

IMHO, move Tebow time to TE and he becomes a pro bowl player!

Also he just isn't an accurate thrower at the moment. NE had the worst defense in the NFL this year, and Denver couldn't score on them.

Tebow needs to improve his passing and decision making. If he can do that in the off season, then he might become a good NFL QB. I don't think he can, but he is good for the NFL if he stays a starter. The media hype really needs to back off.

Denver simply WAS NOT a playoff team and now we see that --- but Tebow got them to the playoffs....
that's the main point of the Tim Tebow supporters that he is good enough to carry an entire non-playoff-worthy team on his back and get them there and even get them a win in ther playoffs.

Denver had a playoff defense and much like the Ravens of past years, all they needed was an offense to manage the game and limit mistakes. Tebow did that. Tebow's contribution this year have been way overstated. It was a team effort with the Broncos having a flawed offense.

A new quarterback is not a bad idea. But I liked that Elway gave Tebow a vote of confidence and will give him the chance to start next year as the starting quarterback. He will be given a chance to see what he can do, and to see how much he has improved over the offseason. As I said earlier, Tim is one tough guy and hard worker, so you know he will devote all of his time over the offseason to get better.

Elway said Tebow would be the starter going into camp NOT the season.

Denver had a good defense and running game and played in a weak conference. Beninator is stop on, and the troll is trolling.

My bad. But Elway is still giving him a chance to keep his job which is the right move IMO.
