I'm probably going to hell for saying this, but after watching the game yesterday, Tebow's role in the Broncos win was way overrated! The Denver defense has a lot to do with the winning streak, and Willis McGahee's 117 yards rushing against the Chargers was a bigger factor in the win as well. I will say that Tebow is a leader, albeit a terrible quarterback.

But QBs and head coaches are the only 2 people on any team in the NFL who have W and L columns next to their names. Tebows W column looks pretty good right now IMO.

9-7 isn't out of the question, and with that remaining schedule the Bears game will be huge.
I can't IMAGINE what the sports talking heads would do if somehow this "fullback" took his squad to the playoffs and won a game or two.

I personally couldn't be a bigger fan of his, what other 2nd year starter has been this scrutinized? It's been incredible.
BTW- John Elway in his first 12 starts had a completion % under 50 percent.

wow - seems some of the NFL announcers are finally catching on that Tebow is maybe at least a small part of Denver's 6 game winning streak..
Overcoming fumbles, bad penalties and bad times, and his defense giving up 32 pts, Tebow leads them back once again for a last second win.

Meanwhile the Bears with Hanie look like a Pop Warner team trying to win against an NFL team

Just watching the intro to the Bears-Broncos game, and already the announcers are trying to capitalize on the Tebow phenomenon, and talking him up into a superhero. These sports commentators were always the first ones to tell us he isn't an NFL quarterback. Which is it?

He did it again, with a little help from Marion Barber and Matt Prater. If he played like every quarter was the 4th quarter he would be a lock for league MVP. Though I still think given what the Broncos have done since he took over, he should have a case anyway.

Just watching the intro to the Bears-Broncos game, and already the announcers are trying to capitalize on the Tebow phenomenon, and talking him up into a superhero. These sports commentators were always the first ones to tell us he isn't an NFL quarterback. Which is it?

He plays well enough to win, and he looks like he is improving by the week, though he looked out of it for much of the game until the fourth quarter. And he does it with a positive, will not quit attitude, which kind of reminds me of Geno Ford.

I think this "superhero" phenomenon revolves around Tebow being such a straight-laced, clean cut kid with terrific morals, which is something rare in sports these days. Now people can argue whether or not he wears his religion a little too much on his shoulders for some people's tastes, but that's a seperate discussion for another day. He is a great guy who will have a successful life whether or not he succeeds in the NFL.

But I agree with some of the two faced sports commentators who are talking out of both sides of their mouths. Pick a side and stick with it.
