  • The World Series

This series deserves its own thread. What a series folks. If you are a casual fan of the game you have to love this year's version. Both teams have it all, pitching, defense, bull pen, coaching, intangibles and best of all lineups with professional hitters. I hope it goes 7 games!

    BTW...Why pitch to AP?

I have found this an interesting series even though nationwide the ratings are low as expected for any series without the Yanks, Red Sox, or LA that the east coast powers like ESPN will decline to hype...

It is startling how many errors and bad plays have resulted in shift of momentum...

BTW were these guys separated at birth??

I really don't care who wins, but I hope the Series goes to seven games as well. With some exceptions, I haven't been too impressed with the pitching. Before the Series, I was interested to see CJ Wilson pitch as a result of the free agent rumors. To be honest, I am not very impressed with Wilson.

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™
