First-year Bradley volleyball head coach picked up her first Missouri Valley Conference victory in dramatic fashion, with the Braves rallying from a two-set deficit to top visiting Southern Illinois 22-25, 16-25, 25-20, 25-22, 15-12 Saturday at Renaissance Coliseum.
Bradley (7-4 overall, 1-1 MVC) rallied from two sets down to pull out the victory against a conference opponent for the first time since coming back to top Indiana State in five sets on Sept. 10, 1999 in Terre Haute, Ind., and snapped an 11-match losing streak in the series with SIU.
