Braves Sweep Canisius To Open Akron Invitational

The Bradley volleyball team (3-1 overall) swept Canisius Friday morning in the first match fo the Akron Invitational. The Braves play tournament-host Akron tonight at 6 p.m. (CDT).

Way to go Braves! Canisius is not a bad team, they were 3-0 coming into the tournament. They finished 3rd in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference last year, and should be better this season with most of their best players back. They were picked to finish 2nd in the MAAC this year. So a sweep is a great accomplishment for the girls!
