These are the type of HEADLINES that result in Coach DeRose consistently bringing in good prospects/recruits and a winning program. It becomes a positive recruiting cycle. Sure, not all are going to rise to the top, but here we have one that certainly is.

Interestingly, I was visiting Chicago (right after Gaul had signed with BU) and talked to one of his high school's board members. I just mentioned Gaul's name out of the blue.... And the Board member talked about Gaul as is if he were his son...Very proud....Mentioned obviously commitment, superb athleticism, very good grades, and ability to really make a name for himself because of his HEIGHT....

Its aweful early, but it looks as if this team has a strong defense, excellent goalkeeper, and a good crop of 1st teamers and support. Chemistry......

Looks like nscaa div 1 rankings has the bu braves soccer team at #28 as of last night's posting.

Hope to see a nice crowd for the opener tomorrow night. I suspect that bu's opponents will start to ghost/shadow mr. Gaul...opening up opportunities for other team members.
