In case you haven't noticed, and judging by the amount of national media coverage, many haven't, the Diamondbacks have managed to win a few here and there, and are threatening to win the NL West this season!

The latest iteration of the NL West Div "where did they come from?" teams is playing great baseball with no big superstars. Have gone from worst (last year) to first this year in the NL West with possibly the most decirated ex player coaching staff in MLB....Kirk Gibson, Alan Trammel, Don Baylor, Eric Young, Matt Williams, and Charles Nagy.

Hopefully baseball can rise from the ashes here in Phoenix under the desert sun.
