Please share this information with any families with softball-playing daughters. A great opportunity to learn the game and help your "neighbor."

    Bradley Softball Hosting Benefit Clinic

PEORIA, Ill. -- The Bradley softball team will be hosting a clinic at Laura Bradley Park following Sunday’s (April 17) noon home game against Missouri State. All children eighth-grade and under can attend the 75-minute clinic with proceeds from the event going toward the purchase of a new wheelchair for Julie Prill.

Diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of two, Prill is one of the Braves biggest fans and is in attendance at most home games. The team has made it their goal during the 2011 season to raise money for the purchase of a new wheelchair for Prill.

The cost of the clinic is $15 per person and open to all children in eighth grade or younger. To register for the clinic please contact assistant coach Jennie Shollenberger at jshollenberger@bradley.edu or (309) 677-2625.

This is great. Do you believe there could be children that cannot afford the $15? If so, perhaps they could create a place where we could sponsor a disadvantage child? I'd hate to see a child left behind at this age because of these tough economic times. Just a thought.
