agree completely - one single product - growing tobacco - has been subsidized by the US govt. to the tune of well over $1 billion in the past decade.
If you count all agricultural subsidies - the total grows to well over $100 billion

why does the federal government have to tax people who work just to hand the money freely over to other people who earn way more then those being taxed?

I am sure some will say "but people need food" so we should subsidize it...
But people also need clothing, pharmaceuticals, and medical care...so we should subsidize all of those??

Now the question is what can we do to change what I call is legalized fraud? I say first step is to elect officials on all levels that truly want election finance reforms and repel the horrendous decision made by the Supreme Court of United Citizen vs Federal Election Commission. I also find ObamaCare part of the fraud on multiple levels. It will not change the overall cost to the working class (in fact it will probably keep going up).
