  • Super Bowl

Down here in Dallas for the Super Bowl.

The roads were terrible until the sun came out yesterday and melted the ice on most of the roads.

NFL Experience was super crowded yesterday. Should be a great game!

    Go Packers!

Chicago had another 2 to 3 inches of snow today, so it could be worse. Granted I know the city of Dallas probably does not even own one snow plow, so even a few flurries could cause trouble there.

          Anyway, Go Steelers!

After watching all the 1st half I have noticed many players come up limping or favoring a knee or ankle. I have got to believe the question will come up sometime after the game. Does this particular brand of turf field have problems or flaws? Could the base be too cold? I have seen no fewer than 6 players come up hobbled on routine looking plants or cuts. Strange

Steelers receiver and Woodson both out with injuries- Driver as well... I wondered teh same thing.

Seemed like lots of them were slipping, loosing footing, etc...

Good game, almost my entire family was in da house to bring home the Lombardi Trophy!

Woodson fractured his collarbone. That is an injury usually seen with falls onto pavement or a very solid surface, not onto normal turf. That suggests the turf in Dallas must be extremely hard.

It was an amazing event to see in person. Better yet the Packers won!

Even as a Bears fan I can say the Packers proved themselves to be the best team. Glad the Packers fans here had a good time.

I was going nuts and yelling at the TV during all those dropped passes and was really worried during the 3rd qtr....we couldn't get any field postion and it seemed our defense was on the field all the time....but man what a win...the Mendanhall fumble really changed the momentum back to the Pack in the 4th
Congrats to AR on MVP....what a run those last 6 games...

The drive down took 18 hours....only 12 heading back.

Dallas and Oklahoma were both terrible. In Oklahoma, we never saw a single plow working. Dallas was 6 inches of ice.

I think I am finally relaxed after the drive down!! It was great fun and an experience I will never forget!
