  • UCONN booster is taking his ball and going home!

Saw this, this morning, on ESPN. Putting it here because really has more to do with college football...

Basically, because he was not in on the decision making for the coaching vacancy for football he wants $3million he donated back and his name removed from the facility!!!
Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope.

I don't blame him, I wouldn't give a dime to a university that employs a slimeball like Jim Calhoun anyways.

For the record, this case has nothing to do with Jim Calhoun.
No donor should give their money if they don't support what the university stands for or is doing. But this donor is going a step further. He is asking for $3 million of his money back just because he thought the school should have consulted with him before they decided who their new football coach would be. UConn was going to name their football stadium after the family, and now the donor wants his $3 million back and his name taken off the facility. That is a pretty nice chunk of change, and every program would love to have a donor like that. However, the donor felt he deserved to be consulted regarding the football coach hiring, and maybe it would have been a good idea if they had, but I don't think they were under any obligation to do so.

Bob Knight was on Mike and Mike today....

He said the guy should take his $$$$$ and start his own school.... Ego Tech!
