The Cubs were trying to sign Brandon Webb, but it's reported he will sign a deal with the Texas Rangers-

A healthy Brandon Webb is a stud! He IMO has the biggest upside. I bet he went to TX because has a great chance of having some runs scored behind him and it is only a one year deal. If you are going after a one year deal, run support, ball park configuration and defense is what counts.
