I love this guy. As a Cards fan I was really bummed when he signed the extension in Chicago. Hopefully someday he'll be sportin his hometown birds on the bat before he retires.

Thats a pretty awesome story. Buerhle is a real stand up guy and there are a lot of players who should strive to be more like him. He pretty much never gets rattled on the mound and is a stand up guy off the field. Nice find DeltaBrave
