  • Bears in first place, 9-3!

Time to give the Bears some props! That was a quality win over Vick and company. Can anyone please explain to me why Julius Peppers is not being mentioned as Defensive Player of the Year, or MVP of the league? I don't think I have ever seen one player in the NFL have such a huge impact as Peppers has this year. What happened to the critics who said he doesnt play hard all the time? He is an animal. He has raised the level of play of the rest of the D line. Idonije has really shined as well. Awesome win!

Also where are all the fans who just a month ago were calling for heads to roll?!?

I thought the Bears would have a pretty good first half of the season and then possibly stumble the 2nd half. But I think this is a case where the team has a lot of confidence now and things are starting to come together for them. They still have some tough games the last 3-4 weeks of the season, but they seem to be getting better and better.
Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope.

Probably because he isn't even the sack leader on the Bears, and it's hard to give awards based on "he raises the level" of the d-line...
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

I think most avid sports fans are at least mildly bipolar when it comes to their favorite sports teams You know, fire the bum one month, wait wait, we've won 4 in a row - keep him now OR trade the bum one month, wait wait, he's now hitting .400 over the last 3 weeks, keep the bum. It must be tough to be a player or coach/manager but getting the rewards when things go well make it worth while.

GO BEARS! Keep the coach, but we may have a different idea a month from now

I am hoping they make the playoffs. But just last week before the Philly game I said they would finish 8-8. I hope they continue looking good. Tough schedule still to go.

DARN YOU CHICAGO!!! You make it a LOT harder to follow a mediocre BU Basketball team!
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!

it would be nice to watch a Bears game without a couple Lions cheerleaders broadcasting the game...

If a tackler goes for the back of the quarterback's head with a clear intent to knock him out with a forearm...then duhhhh...it's a personal foul/uneccessay roughness.
Those dopes doing the game musta never seen one before...

Bears sweep the Lions with the help of two awful refs calls. This is starting to feel like the Bears year.

How can you ever lose with the help of the zebras?

Sorry, but once the qb comes out of the pocket he is fair game. I don't care if he actually used the forearm, (which I don't think he did) or not! The bears are lucky to beat the lions twice this season! As the saying goes....better to be lucky than good!
