Found this interesting tidbit about the Illinois - Northwestern football game at Wrigley Field tomorrow. Only one endzone will be used for offense, because the other endzone is too close to the right field wall!

but the wind blows differently in each quarter, and whether you go for a FG or not sometimes depends on wind speed & direction, and if you intercept and run it back for a TD -- would you stop the play and make the guy run towards the other end?? Of course you wouldn't so would you then walk to the other end of the field to kick the PAT??

I know the Bears played at Wrigley Field for a number of years, if it worked for the Bears... I was at the 1963 NFL championship game against the Giants, and unless something has changed that I'm not remembering - it looks the same unless the layout of the field is different in Wrigley somehow. I don't see why they don't go both ways, why play it there if they don't want to.
Speaking of DA BEARS... They are really looking good now... looking very good!
And speaking of DA BEARS, I like number 9. Well number 34 will always be my favorite. #9 = Billy Wade = 1963 NFL Championship, #9 = Jim McMahon = 1985 Super Bowl Championship, #9 = Robbie Gould = a great field goal kicker.

Looking at that picture I cannot help but thinking you would not want to take a hit in the back the enzone...crashing into that wall looks painful and dangerous!
Edit: I just found out they will be going one way on offense, so that does not happen.

How would you like it having your seats at the game down on the end that they will not be playing most of the game at, I would want a refund because all the action will be down at the opposite end and you will be looking at the back ends most of the game.

I was in Wrigleyville for the game. You could easily find SRO for $40 or less. Tickets were expensive up until about 1:30 and then everyone was selling for less than face value for the most part. Saw one guy sell a 50 yard line ticket for $50, face was $150. Almost got hit by a car trying to make a better offer from the street...
Also, I spoke with a few poeple that sat in the East end zone. They were worried beforehand about the action being far away, but they said it ended up alright and somewhat better than expected. I figured not having a video board would be more of an issue with all the obstructed view in Wrigley..
