Whiney crybabies? Until you've had racial slurs hurled at you, maybe you shouldn't pass judgement.

And Donald Driver is one of the most respected players in the game. He's a whiney crybaby because he gave an honest answer when asked a question?

Tornado, what do you think of the Obama administration? Whiney crybaby.

Milwaukee isn't Green Bay. In fact, Milwaukee is closer to Chicago than Green Bay!!! I could tell you stories about my experiences with Bears Fans when the Bears played in Champaign. But then again, unless I had clear video evidence then you'd probably just call me a whiney crybaby. Get a clue.

I suspect maybe you disagree...but thanks for your help anyway.........
basically Collins=Artest -- a hot head who at least, is admitting he was at fault..

It wasn't until the morning after the game that I heard and read about this incident....had Collins walked off the field like all the other 100 players and coaches, and the 62K people, then he wouldn't have embarrassed himself and his team.

now he's more than made a fool of himself and will finish out a good a career with his legacy being defined by this incident a la Ron Artest...

nobody's making Bears fans into Saints -- but I remain convinced that NOT ONE Bears fan did anything that I haven't seen done at 1000 sporting events across the naiton every year -- they hollered jeers at the opponents, and anyone who says they did more -- has the burden of proof to come up with any evidence other than Collins' claim that they spit and called him names. BTW -- not one other Packer player appears to have come forward to corroborate Collins' claims with their own witness.....they support their guy, that's fine, but nobody else saw spitting or heard the worn out mantra-of-a-claim that they uses racial slurs...

in fact when we hear these "racial slur" allegations, we also often come to find that those who make such claims have agendas and even plant folks into crowds to set up such situations at times...
so maybe those weren't real Bear fans -- maybe they were Packer fans who were trying to give Bears fans a really bad name!!!

If all the 62K people left, who were the ones in the video. Not completely defending Collins, but fans are the same everywhere when it comes to harrasing opposing players and fans, so please quit trying to make Bear fans out to be saints.

I don't see where anyone said Bears fans are saints...
but what was said repeatedly is that they are likely no different than fans at thousands of other pro sporting events....
For some of the press (and fans) to take the Duke-Lacrosse approach and presume guilt upon the fans for something they may not have done -- and for some media outlets to claim they had video of the spitting when didn't-- shows just who are the furthest from saintly action.....

Glad Bear fans are more saintly than the "press and fans". I know too many.

                how bout those 3-0 bears!!!!

Jay Cutler holds on to the ball way too long, but at least the Giants are tearing it up on fantasy, Bears fans.

I'm sorry, but gotta pipe up here. If anyone looks at that loss and insinuates Cutler they may be the stupidest football fans of all time. I'm sure Collins converted so many plays because the line was just fine.

Apples and Oranges. Todd Collins started ONE of his 16 seasons in the NFL. Jay Cutler is supposed to be a franchise quarterback. Big difference if you ask me.

I personally agreed almost spot-on with what Chris Collinsworth had to say during the game. (never thought I'd say that) Cutler needed to throw the ball way quicker than he was- not everything is on the offensive line.

Franchise quarterbacks don't put up the stat line Cutler did Sunday night, no exceptions. That was down right hard to watch.

Yeah, I'd agree except it's likely that Cutler was holding the ball that long because he was punch drunk. Scuttle says he was concussed around the sack #4 or 5. Makes sense to me because Cutler is usually slow to release when he can't find someone open, but it's not common that he's overlooking 2 or 3 open receivers. Cutler has his faults but he wasn't playing like himself during the 2nd quarter.

Martz even tried the 3-step quick passes to try to get out of the problem but the line was playing so poorly that you'd have two guys coming free (out of four rushing, no blitz) immediately.

I agree, he was hurt or dazed much early than the end of the 2nd quarter, I was thinking someone spiked his orange juice, him and the entire offensive line. The offense looked like they were playing in slow motion. Even Lovie looked tired. I think one of the announcers said, "this is one weird game" and it was.

4 interceptions. A fumble at the 1 yd line.

All against the 29th ranked defense (versus opposing QBs).

Nick Collins named to yet another pro bowl... and he seals the Bears/Packers game with an interception. No one remembers the incident earlier in the year. So much for your "Ron Artest" prediction...

                              In other news...
If Calvin Johnson's touchdown in week 1 had been ruled a catch, which, for all intents, constructions, purposes, and common sense, it was a catch, then...
-The Bears would not have a 1st round bye,
-The Bears would not have won the division,
-The Bears would not have even made the playoffs!! Packers would have won division tiebreaker and the Giants would have beaten the Bears out for the last wild card spot!!

Rules are designed to ensure fairness and uphold the integrity of the game. The application of the rule during the Lions/Bears game did the exact opposite. Watch for the bears_sneak_into_playoffs_rule to be changed in the offseason. The Giants got screwed...

If "ifs" and "Buts" were candy and nuts, then every day would be Christmas.

We could play the what-if game with every team, and every game.
2 of the Bears losses were by 3 points, and 1 more was by one touchdown. There are a lot of plays we could play the what-if game with that might have turned those games into wins.

By the way, the Calvin Johnson play that you refer to was not an official catch. It has been looked at a million times, and reviewed by everyone, including the NFL. By the rules of the NFL, it was not a mistake, it was not a gift given to the Bears, it was called correctly.
