Given the uniqueness of the course, does anyone think that the PGA has some fault here? I agree that Johnson and his caddie should have some blame, but I think that the PGA has some blame here as well as they should have done more to define certain areas as waste bunkers. jmho

Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Each golfer is ultimatley responsible for everything that goes on during a round. Any golfer that would stake his tournament life on the back of a caddie would be foolish.

True dat....
Still, in all serious, AP is correct and the GOLFER is responsible for whatever happens on the course....The caddy is a great backup source and second set of eyes, ears and what have you but......he can only blame himself tough as it may seem.

I guess I'll have to go with AP too....
I tend to get annoyed when the players rely too much on their caddy.....
I remember seeing Bones crouched behind Phil and telling him when he was lined up for a putt......I feel like that is a little too much. (Maybe I saw this wrong because I think there are rules about this) Golf is so great because you are an individual playing a course by yourself. You only need yourself.
Then again maybe I am just jealous because I have never had a caddy....
