Here's a recent story about one of the poorest cities in the nation, whose city employees are making as much as $800,000 per year!
The police chief of this city of 38,000 is making $457,000, more than twice the salary of the police chief of the biggest cities in the nation!
The city council members make over $100,000 for a few hours work as part time people!
California even has a state law limiting the pay of city council members within the state to only a few hundred dollars per month, just to prevent this kind of corruption!!
Does anyone smell a rat here?? Bell is only a few miles north on I-710 from beautiful Signal Hill.
