And for European soccer fans, your signature is a dead give away to what team you follow so you can probably select the first and second choices

A few years ago, I was in Copenhagen, Denmark and took a day trip to Malmo, Sweden. If you like tall long legged blond women, then Sweden is a target rich environment! So... Braves4life, I have to respectfully disagree with your post!
          Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

                USA of course!

Then I have to go with the other team I have been following for eons - Argentina. You gotta love Messi. I also would love to see a all non-European semi. The Euro fans are worse then BCS fans.

I love me some soccer, World Cup or otherwise. Be rooting for USA... Other than that (a team that has a chance to root for) probably Netherlands.

I'd love to see the US compete well. I've also got mad love for my African countries. Drogba was back at practice today so Ivory Coast can make some waves. The world cup is the only way I can justify rooting for Drogba, and Eto'o.

Outside of the world cup it is all about THE Red Merseysiders, Villarreal, Fenerbahce, Napoli, and OL.

Personally I will be following two main teams and they face off in the first game of Group C. England and the USA.

My predicted final four are England (homer pick), Brazil, Argentina, and Spain. However, I think if Ivory Coast gets Drogba back and makes it out of the group stage I think they have a great chance of beating Spain and moving on to the final 4.

Drogba is back in training, even though knowing you, you probably already knew this info like hours ago...

why would you think any team has a GREAT chance against Spain?

Hehe i'm pretty sure he was probably speaking in "relative terms" when saying they have a "great chance against Spain". There aren't a whole hell of a lot of weak points in Spain, but they are back on African soil, and the last time they came out to play here, they lost their 15 game game win streak and 35 game no loss streak to some pompous little upstart program named USA. Their strikers and midfielders are fantastic but finesse players. If you play them physical it can disrupt their game a bit especially with Torres up front - course even then you still have to make it past Puyol/Pique/Ramos and then there is Casillas.... which is a problem.
