anyone note the discrepancies thus far?? -- Really quite typical for sensationalistic reporting where everyone wants to be the first to report something and doesn't bother to check on the facts and so they just go with silly rumors...
Of course all the initial reports were that the dig site was somewhere in Peoria County EAST of Peoria, when in fact it was west...
and ..many, many times I have read that they are digging in a virtually inaccessible area that's heavily wooded..
but the only pictures I have yet seen on the site, including the area they are digging as photographed from a helicopter..
show absolutely NO TREES in the dig area and only a few within hundreds of yards...
they even put up a tent like structure over the dig area to shade it for the guys who were digging.....
Here's the video as filmed from a helicopter right over the precise dig site, and it appears pretty sparsely wooded with the actual dig site being a completely unwooded area big enough to set up a large tent-like structure...
This writer says they were digging on a farm, when others said it was a private gun club, and she also says the source of the tip that led them to this site was NOT from someone who was in jail with Peterson, while most other sources say it was...
and while all the sources for this story say they are searching for remains that are buried on the gun club site...this in one of a few sources claiming to know that the body is in a BLUE BARREL...
