Who do you think would be the best choice to be the Cubs next manager? I know who the local favorite is, but all three are very qualified candidates.

The available manager pool is about to get a little smaller.
Looks like Joe Torre will soon be fired and it is reported that Lou Pinella is Steibrenner's choice to be the next Yankees manager.
Yankees manager Joe Torre is expected to be fired and replaced by Lou Piniella, according to a report in the New York Daily News.
I think that solidifes Joe Girardi as the next Cubs manager.

Noon press conference today to announce Lou Piniella as the new manager of the Chicago Cubs. The contract is around 3 years, $10 million with a club option for the 4th year.
Larry Rothschild will be retained by Piniella as the pitching coach. He was Piniella's bullpen coach when Piniella guided the 1990 Cincinnati Reds to a World Series championship.Onward and Upward!
