A little off topic, but a "feel-good" story:
In case there are any who haven't already seen this story, a man dived into the frigid East River, off Manhattan's east side and rescued his 2-year old daughter who had fallen into the water. She was submerged and surely would have died if not for the heroism of her father and a second bystander, who also dove into the river. Both the father and the bystander, who disappeared after the rescue, and remains unidentified, are heroes. The 2-year old girl will recover OK.
