This is the best time of the year??¦spring reigning supreme, March Madness, and yes, the unveiling of the Name of the Year Field of 64. This blog has been going for like 25 years (it wasn??™t called a blog 25 years ago) and allows people to submit names of real people with real names??¦and you must submit some sort of validation that the name is real. Then the blog writers put together 4 regions of 16 teams and open up voting.
Last year??™s winner was Barkevious Mingo, a football player for Alabama who defeated Velvet Milkman, the women??™s golf coach at Murray St. University. I would be shocked if ???Nohjay Nimpson??? doesn??™t win this year??™s title.
I am proud to say that I nominated 3 names that made the field of 64??¦a #1 seed and a #15 and #16 seed (#16 will sound familiar).
