For those that do follow futbol, Landon Donovan made his debut in England today for Everton. Hes on loan to the Premiere League club for the remainder of the Barclays season, and will presumably return to the LA Galaxy roughly around the time the MLS season starts. This makes for a handful of American veterans and American 'up-and comer's in one of the greatest leagues in the world (donovan, howard, altidore, etc.), as well as several more playing in Germany and lesser leagues. These guys playing amongst the worlds best will go far in the US's preparation for the world cup only half a year off.
