  • Bulls Rumors

I have been following this for a few days, as Kirk is my favorite player, but there is a rumor that he could go to Washington for Caron Butler. I don't like the deal personally, but I think a trade is necessary for both the Bulls and Kirk in the long run for both to make the best for themselves.

After the loss tonight more fans on forums are calling for Vinny's head as well, I don't understand why everyone hates him so much, I think he has done alright. We had a decent year last year, and now that we are healthy are having a nice run of late. This team is not talented enough for high expectations, with no post threat or major scoring threat at the wing spots. I actually like Vinny and how he has handled the situation.

Thinking about it the Bulls and Bradley and the fan bases are following similar paths this year it seems...with injuries, tough losses, and people bashing coaches (I support both coaches and think they are doing a good job)...I hope they both turn it around!

No articles about Vinny tonight, but here is a link to a January 2nd article about the trade rumor:

    Happy birthday, BUfan14!

I can't believe most Bulls fans can blame Del Negro for the Bulls' problems this year. The team has too many holes to expect more than a .500 team.
They have played much better since Tyrus Thomas has returned. They had won 4 in a row until last night's loss. What is most frustrating is too many home losses to bad teams.
But like a bunch of teams, the Bulls have been positioned by management to be major players in the 2010 free agent market. They have avoided long term contracts, so they can free up a huge amount of cash to try to sign a big name player like LeBron James (unlikely) or Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, etc.

With as bad as the Bulls have been (they are 14-18 ) they are currently in 7th place in the Eastern conference, with a great chance to climb up to 7th or 6th before the season is over. Only 5 teams out of 15 in the East have winning records.

There is SUCH a big drop in the East. You have 3 or 4 great teams that will make it tough for everyone else...then a HUGE drop.

Fortunately, the bulls have the ability to be a hot team. Losing Ben Gordon seems to have a serious effect on the bulls ability to score. Salmons really hasn't been able to get up to snuff on that.

Kirk looks great, it really is a shame that he doesnt play more.

Not expecting much this season, probably getting an interim coach for now, and then making a play for a big free agent (D Wade probably) then waiting for the coaches to be ooozing over the idea of coaching a Rose-Wade 1-2 ()

look for the bulls to be one of the better teams in the east next season
Gloria: Who's side are you on?
Jay: She's my daughter, you're my wife. Let's remember what's important, there's a football game on today

Rumor is Hinrich could be going to the Lakers, as the Bulls are trying to trade either him or Salmons. I still think this is stupid, they have played way better with Hinrich back. He is like the Sammy of the Bulls, he may not be the most talented player out there, but he does all the little things, good at everything, great at nothing. They are banking on a big free agent signing too, what if no one comes here? Also I read Hinrich's salary won't make or break a big signing anyway. Hinrich would look great with that Lakers team, so it could be good for him, and I want to see Kirk do well. Hinrich has always been my favorite Bull so I hope he doesn't go, but it could be good for both Kirk and the Bulls long term. Here is one article on him.

Also for all the constant bashing of Vinny, who as I said I support, the Bulls have played very well lately and are almost back to .500 at 21-22 and looking to be about to swing over the mark. Since this team has become healthy and put Hinrich in the lineup they have played very well. They are still close enough to move up to potentially 5th in the East if they keep playing like this at only 1 and a half games back of 5th. They will be a tough out this year again as they have played well all year against the best teams in the league.

Devin Brown was also traded to the Bulls for Aaron Gray the other day, which I though was a good move, but it is probably a move made in order to be able to trade Hinrich or Salmons.
