Bradley tennis lands 2 top players from Minnesota

Hamish Weerasinghe of Edina High School in edina, Minnesota, is the No. 1 senior in the state of Minnesota, according to TennisRecruiting.net. Also, he is nationally ranked in the top 100 of the USTA Boys 18s. He has played varsity tennis since he was in the 7th grade, and helped lead his high school to the Minnesota state championship when he was just an 8th grader. He also lead his schools to another state championship as a sophomore, and last spring, as a junior, he finished in third place in the Minnesota state singles competition.

Justin Abrams of Eagan High School, is the number one singles player there since eighth grade, is consistently ranked among the top five state high school players in the state of Minnesota. He is ranked 284 in Boys 18s on TennisRecruiting.net. He was part of a doubles team that finished fourth at the state high school tournament last year.

2010 BU tennis recruit Hamish Weerasinghe of Edina High School (MN) won the USTA National Open doubles championship in the boy's 18s division in Cincinnati on Feb. 16. He will play tennis for BU next year.
