Originally posted by Da Coach View PostTrading Milton Bradley and getting anything more back than a bag of dirty towels is a huge success. If the Cubs can play up to their potential and win the NL pennant, this could go down as one of the best trades in Cubs history.
Of course, the signing of Bradley last year will rank up with the trade of Lou Brock as one of the worst Cubs moves of all time.
Originally posted by Big Mike View PostVery good news IMO......if bradley stayed on the Cubs roster by opening day I vowed to quit watching....its was a bad move to sign him from day one.....now go out and sign Byrd and Capps with the 13 or so million increase in ticket prices this season and give us some hope!

Overall, I'm happy because cubs got $ and got rid of a poison in the locker room. The longer he was there the worse the team would be. Send Silva to the bullpen and put him in Mid-relief. Keep him out of the dugout and away from other head cases (Big-Z). Would like to see a CF come in or develop someone. Either way is fine w/ me. don't look terrible next year.
1. Cards
2. Cubs
3. Astros (don't sleep on these guys...always a tough win for teams)
4. Brewers
5. Pirates
6. Reds (silly dusty baker)Gloria: Who's side are you on?
Jay: She's my daughter, you're my wife. Let's remember what's important, there's a football game on today
