sounds like Capps and the Cubs are talking....
One hundred years provides more than several lifetimes full of highlights, some lowlights, and many memories. Here’s a look at 100 years of the Western Golf Association and the Western Open. …

says the avid Cards fan....actually claiming the season to be "interesting" not immediately crowing the Cardinals as NL champs

Of course, the signing of Bradley last year will rank up with the trade of Lou Brock as one of the worst Cubs moves of all time.
Well said....well said...don't know about that whole NL pennant thing though. Having built up expectations every year before this...i'm going w/ low expectations hoping that the cubs doing ANYTHING good will be well above my expectations

Not necessarily bad move on day one. Ignoring Bradley's insanity...on paper, he is what the cubs needed. A switch hitting outfielder that could technically hit from the left and would make pitchers work to get him out/draw a walk.

Overall, I'm happy because cubs got $ and got rid of a poison in the locker room. The longer he was there the worse the team would be. Send Silva to the bullpen and put him in Mid-relief. Keep him out of the dugout and away from other head cases (Big-Z). Would like to see a CF come in or develop someone. Either way is fine w/ me. don't look terrible next year.

      1. Cards
      2. Cubs
      3. Astros (don't sleep on these guys...always a tough win for teams)
      4. Brewers
      5. Pirates
      6. Reds (silly dusty baker)
Gloria: Who's side are you on?
Jay: She's my daughter, you're my wife. Let's remember what's important, there's a football game on today
