  • Urlacher Done

It has just been reported that Urlacher's season is over after disclocating his wrist last night at Green Bay. He will undergo season-ending surgery

Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery to repair a dislocated right wrist -- a major blow for a team with high expectations.

This is bad news, but I don't feel it is season altering. We have a good defensive unit (although the secondary did not show it last night) and what we will miss most is urlacher's leadership in the locker room and on the field. My number one priority would be to figure out why the hell Cutler decided on multiple occasions decided to throw into triple or even quadruple coverage. I feel like i was watching a true freshman college QB. Throw it away or take the sack. Easily he could have had 6 INT's last night.

The Bears also lost another linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa last night to a sprained knee ligament. And, cornerback Trumaine McBride, an important special teams player, also suffered a knee injury.

Maybe the Bears will look to sign a former pro Bowl and Defensive POY linebacker Derrick Brooks. 36 year old Brooks was released by the Tampa Bay Bucs after last season, and has not signed anywhere.

Wonder if he got hurt on the cheap shot he gave the QB?

Did not look like a cheap shot to me. Led with his shoulder, was too close to pull up. IMO.

Ditto! Just a good, clean HARD hit. That's why no one from the Packers or media even brought it up.

I'll go along with the hard hit part. I've seen 15 yards tacked on for a lot less than that hit.
