Technically, I don't think she was disqualified. It just so happened that the one point she was penalized cost her the match.

Sadly, the tournament only fined her for $10K for the outburst and allowed her to continue to compete in the doubles finals with her sister.

Don't care how big a star she is, she should be permanently barred. Just like John Chaney of Temple should have been. IMO the Williams sisters are the top 2 players in the game, but they are the Zambrano of tennis. Whenever they lose they were hurt or always have some excuse.
