Bears fans are excited by the acquisition of Jay Cutler. He is a skilled quarterback, something that the Bears have had very little of over the years.
Here are the Bears quarterbacks over the last 30 years- quite a forgettable group-

Will he be as good as fans expect? Will he set new Bears records?
The current Bears record for passes, passing yards, and touchdowns are held by Erik Kramer.(3838 yards and 29 touchdowns on 522 attempts in 1995)

The Bears wide receivers will be the least experienced in the NFL. Currently, the depth chart looks like this-
1. Devin Hester
2. Earl Bennett
3. Brandon Rideau
4. Rashied Davis
5a. Juaquin Iglesias (2009 3rd round draft pick)
5b. Johnny Knox (2009 5th round pick)

Cutler is going to make somebody a star this year. I'm guessing Olsen will be a Pro Bowl caliber TE and Hester will have a make or break year as a WR. Will he be the next Steve Smith? (the good one with Carolina) Time will tell.

Plus, I think the Bears will pick up a potential impact WR (for the Bears) from other teams training camp cuts.

I'm a huge Bears fan but I do not think the Bears have any real star WR. Hester could be great as a 3rd down wide-out but as a every play player? He's too small to take the pounding as well as being our guy on kick offs and kick returns. The better WR in this league are starting to look like TEs. Keep Hester healthy to do what he does best and has the greatest impact.
