What would you like to see and expect out of this years braves baseball program?
Are we capable of supporting our baseball team and filling those seats , with energy and electricity to give us the real home field advantage?
    What's your opinion?
    Go braves!!!

Next year's schedule isn't posted yet, but they usually play about the first 15 games on the road in tournaments throughout the south.
Hopefully, BU can return home next year to a home opener with a record like 10-5 or better instead of 5-10 like last year. If they do, I think the fans will show up and keep coming if the team continues to show improvement.

I expect to see progress with next year's team. There was huge turnover following Elvis's first season. The new guys look more athletic on paper. We should see faster outfielders, quicker infielders, and a deeper pitching staff.

The 2010 Braves will miss Scahill on the mound, but the Cooper kid carries similar measurables. They will also miss Fitzgerald's contribution at SS. Elliott will offset Fitzgerald's graduation if he comes back as strong as expected. Mitidiero was also pretty good, but he was not a natural center fielder. The new guys will definitely offer a defensive improvement in the outfield.

I am hesitant to state expectations because it is hard to know the level of the incoming recruits until you actually see them in the heat of battle. Lots of kids dominate against weaker high school competition. Only some of those guys step up and deliver at the next level. One of my biggest questions relates to leadership. Who will lead the new group?

If the recruits are as good as advertised, Bradley should significantly rebound on the diamond next Spring. Keep in mind that Wichita State will be loaded next year. Missouri State, Indiana State, and Creighton won't be far behind. It is a tough league, but Elvis signed what appears to be a banner group. We all hope for great things in 2010, but 2011 might be the year the team really delivers.

I agree more people will turn out if the team wins. It also helps to have some nice weather and a well-organized marketing plan. Nobody knows what God will do with the weather. And I don't know what they have planned to market the 2010 baseball team. Whatever it is, let's hope it works.

Bradley's marketing department will do a great job like they do with the basketball program, combined with the expected outstanding performance of this team stud players we will fill those seats and rock o'brien field.

There will be a team effort from coaches, players, students, faculty and fans. There will also be community involvement with the braves baseball team.

Our players will reach to the community both young and old, to show the fans that bradley baseball is the team they want to support.

Some of the players coming in are high profile players such as patrick cooper from kentucky & gus dequesada from miami to name a few and these guys are used to being in big time games and prime time enviorments and will translate that experience and leadership to the rest of this great team.

This team will be led by a true leader in coach d and the rest of these guys will step up to the challenge and will play with a no mercy attitude. This will be a lean, mean baseball machine that will will take no prisoners along the way. Talent, toughness and tenacity are some of the traits that this team will show this year.

The bad boys will soon be in town, the ladies will want to be with them, the kids will look up to them and the opponents will fear them. So get ready, hold on to your seats and watch these hungry braves get ready for the soon to be upcoming exciting season.

        Go braves!!!
