Cards trade Duncan for Lugo

Not sure what to think of this. Front office says it's for more depth at SS and I guess there's nothing to lose since Boston is taking on almost all of Lugo's remaining contract, $13 million through 2010. Could we possibly be setting up an offer for Halladay that includes a SS?
