Heard a disgruntled Denver fan on the radio mention that Cutler is 13-1 when the D actually holds the other team to 21 or fewer points...

Let's see....OP gave up 3 sacks in 14 starts @ left tackle last season.....sorry dogs but I would take that in a new-york minute....a down year for OP would be a Pro-Bowl year for most other OTs!

The Cutler deal was fantastic move for the most important position in football, but who is he going to catch his passes. There are some wide outs on the free agent market that could help. I doubt that the Bears will be in position to grab one of the better ones coming out of the draft this year and there are some good ones.

I also believe that the Bears play in SF this year! I'll try to get some tickets for that one.

It would be unlikely that da Bears could solve their WR immediately throught the draft. Very few rookie WR's make an immediate impact. I think they will sign an impact free agent WR; they have to. I just hope it's not Plaxico.

I want HOLT....I know he is not the player he used to be but even at his age he would be the top WR for the Bears and who better to teach Hester and the new WR from the draft how to be a PRO WR for a couple of years!

I am not a Bears fan, but I agree with Big Mike about Torry Holt. I think that Holt has 2-3 more good years left... I dont think the same can be said about Harrison.

I would want Harrison teaching Hester and draft picked WR...

no one has mentioned Anquan Boldin...just saying...they're looking for trades in Arizona...

Agreed! And from all that I hear Holt is a "Class A" individual. The Bears can't go wrong with him.

Anquan Boldin is a Pro Bowler with plenty of years left that on any other team he would be the featured reciever. He seems to be bit of a prim-dona and I doubt if the Cards will let him go cheap. He is under contract for 2 more years! He may even end up staying with the Cards. I'm not sure what the Bears could offer in compensation for him????

All things equal I'd take Anquan over any of the other free agents. I also heard that the Ravens are hot after him.

Oh i dont htink its possible, but its still out there...
Everyone thought getting cutler was impossible

                            Holt gone
                            Boldin...not looking good
Harrison wants a long term contract (3 years i think...)
i dont think along term contract of a proven WR would be that bad for the bears

I have to disagree about Harrison. The Colts are one of my favorite NFL teams and while I like Harrison a lot, Harrison has had a noticable drop off in production during the past couple of years mostly due to injuries. Harrison will also be 37 years old for the upcoming season. IMO, a one or at most a two year contract for Harrison makes some sense, but nothing more.

Ditto, Beninator, on Harrison. I was a Harrison fan for a long time, but WR's don't usually age very gracefully, and I think the WR-aging process is pretty advanced in Harrison's case.
