Have any others been watching these baseball games?
The Dominican republic team was loaded, and was the heavy favorite to win the whole thing. However, the Netherlands team upset the DR team tonight, eliminating them, and it was Cubs releiver Carlos Marmol who blew the save, made an error, then lost the game in the 11th inning.

I can only hope Marmol's implosion tonight is a sign of things to come during the regular season. I think the WBC is a good idea but it needs to be pushed back to after the regular season is over. I think more players -- especially pitchers -- would be willing to participate then, knowing they would have four months to recover from any injuries before the next season instead of one month.

I whole-heartedly agree that it should be at the end of the season. Still can't believe the DR lost though and is now eliminated.
