  • No room in Hall of Fame for McGwire

Mark McGwire can get into the Hall of Fame any time he wants. He just has to get to Cooperstown, walk up to the ticket office and slap down $16.50 — or $14.75 if he's a AAA member. Because the only way he's getting in is as a visitor.

An interesting article... I firmly believe that players such as Jim Rice (this year) and Andre Dawson (in the near future) will be elected to the HOF courtesy of the steroid era...
    Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

I think Dawson needs to go in the HOF as well.

I also think that McGwire should go in. He and Sosa brought baseball back after the strike, and everyone applauded them/looked the other way. He's never been convicted of anything or caught using steroids. It seems really unfair to hold him out of the HOF based largely on Andro, which was legal. He and Bonds have become obvious faces of the "steroid era" (which started when?) and demonized. Some players have been forgiven, particularly Yankees that aren't named Clemens, of being caught/admitting using steroids.

      I don't like Bonds. I think he's a jerk.
JL are not respunsible foor the string of injunrys....
