  • Bad Draft Picks

Renaldo Balkman of South Carolina at #20 for the Knicks. He averages only 9 points per game and is a 6'5", 200 lb forward. He was projected as a mid to late 2nd rounder with some sites leaving him undrafted.

    Joel Freeland of England
    Vladimir Veremeenko of Russia
    Damir Markota of Croatia
all have contracts that will likely keep them in Europe for a few years, so why waste a pick?

So they don't have to pay them or worry about their contracts. I think it happens a lot when teams really don't want other players in the 2nd round.

Sheldon Williams by the Hawks at 5. What were they thinking, they needed a PG and Foye was there, if I was a Hawks fan I'd be pissed.
