This article is interesting because it quotes University of Minnesota head coach Dan Monson
who says he came to watch Patrick play in high school several times and he made a scholarship offer
to Patrick, tied to a redshirt year.

This should put to rest those who say Patrick never got any offers above the midmajor level.
