  • Bradley and the NBA Draft, everything you need to know

Was this the work of our fine Assistant A.D. for Communications - Bobby Parker?

    Nice compilation.

Saved that file to the hard drive.

What surprised me- as good as the MVC has become, there has not had been any 1st round picks from any MVC school since Anthony Parker in 1996! And the next most recent one prior to that was Hersey Hawkins in 1988. So after O'Bryant gets picked, it will mean that of all the great players in the Missouri Valley, the only school to have a 1st NBA round pick in the last 21 years has been Bradley, and they have had 3!

see page 2 of the link above

It also looks like the only MVC player still playing in the NBA is Kyle Korver.

Nobody has heard from or talked to David Thirdkill since he left Bradley. He played in the NBA for 5 years, including an NBA title with the 1985-86 Celtics. He then played another 10 years in Europe. He is supposedly living in St. Luois, but when Bradley and the Peoria Journal Star tried to track him down for the "Teams of the Century", he refused to be found. Here is an update on "The Sheriff".
