Next week begins the open evaluation period, and the Bradley staff has been gearing up for recruiting.

Bradley has reportedly offered a scholarship to Eureka sophomore-to-be Jordan Prosser. Prosser is a 6'7" post player with great skills. Here are a few links--

Thanks for all the info DC.

I would NEVER make it as a college coach - I find it hard looking at high school sophomores and evaluating their talent. IMO, a lot happens between post-freshman year and high school graduation with young individuals.

I spoke over the weekend to a kid who had been recruited out of HS, and he confirmed that when you hear the phrase "offered a scholarship", that it doesn't always mean the same thing.
Some kids are offered full, no strings attached in an effort to get them to sign and sign now, then the coach does everything to keep the ride available to convince the kid he's serious.
Some are told that the scholarship is theirs only if they agree now, and no guarantees into the future as the scholarship could go to someone else.
Some are told they can have the scholarship IF they get grades up, continue to develop, or work on certain aspects of their game.
Most are told they can have the scholarship only if they commit during the present contact period and have passing scores, otherwise the offer is contingent upon whether the coach still wants you should you decide to wait and not sign. After all, the coach can't keep numerous open scholarships, just waiting for fickle teenagers.
And some offers are even more tied to other things such as a redshirt year.
